UPS modes of operation
UPS modes of operation
1.Normal Mode Operation
In normal mode operation, UPS will convert AC power into DC power and charge the battery for use in case of power outage.
And when the commercial power is unstable or the frequency can not be maintained in a stable range, the UPS can stabilize it at the voltage and frequency with small deviation to protect the load.
2.Battery Backup Mode Operation
When the commercial power is interrupted for some reason, the battery will convert the direct current of the battery into alternating current through the action of the inverter, and continue to provide power to the load, but this time is limited, considering that in the state of full load, we should choose large capacity UPS system or delay UPS.
3.Bypass Mode Operation
This type of UPS may be equipped with a bypass. In the bypass mode, If one of the UPS functions fails, the load can be transferred to the bypass AC input (supplied with utility or standby power, depending on the installation).
